    Yeah I noticed they had gone up to - by about $5 - 10 per camera even for the old models - they 1.3mp non zooms have gone up by $10!

    Whats the difference between the 4421R and the 4421C apart from the obvious difference of the form? The C seems to have better IR and no SD or alarm audio capability, but they basically are the same lens etc?

    Fisheye lens cameras look like a good option in a retail environment. Although they would have the problem of not being able to see behind objects such as shelves. This video is quite impressive, and the 12mp is around $US600 from Aliexpress.

    I have a Dahua 4116 NVR and it does get pretty hot - I wouldn't want to see it in an enclosed small space. Have you thought of having an PC outside with a connection to an external drive or NAS in the safe?

    I can't really point it down as I have a window that blocks the view and reflects the IR back - I have one further along that gets some of the yard, and I'm replacing it with a Huisun PTZ when I can afford it.
