Recommend Server off Ebay to run Blue Iris and Plex media server in seperate VM's?
While not recommended, there are a few people that run BI as a VM, myself included. Currently I run it on a C2100 (L5630) with 4 cameras. CPU generally runs in the 45% range. They are stored as MP4's as I have JPG's + plus a short clip emailed to myself when an alert is triggered. However it appears that BI will send me the clips as MP4 regardless what the recording format is. Let me change this over first to see if it addresses my issue. Just starting to use ui3 and am getting an error when attempting to view Alerts and/or Clips. I get "The Viedo stream was lost.
