    small note: 5.2.8.1 removes the typo and non-functional "insert ovleray" option in right click menu when viewing clips. Nice to have dev that sees emails and fixes some things in a day.

    moving my post from other thread: i think Ken and I must be on the same wavelength. I emailed him 3 days ago about overlay metadata being saved and BOOM, 5.2.8.0. Dude is awesome. Now to figure out how it works... edit: there are now "add motion overlays..." and "add text/graphic overlays"...

    it is indeed disabled. HW acceleration has never worked for the one nest cam i connect to. whenever attempting to activate, it has always failed and falls back to disabled.     thanks, but I think my issue is different. BIUH is connecting to BI fine. registry backups and perf data is also working. just the updates are not being found as per my edit to my post above.

    5.2.4 - March 31, 2020 - AMD/DirectX and D3D11 decoding now supported

    Another issue on 5.2.4.2 is Nest cam streams wont work. These have never supported acceleration (afaik), so that is already off. They load for a second, then fail, then repeat. Back on 5.2.3.2 works great. I think they also even worked on 5.2.4.1, but I went to 5232 to be safe.

    Hey, on 1.7.3 and just noticed that for some reason, update files havent been saving since update64_5.1.0.0 back in Feb. The service has always been running and the option to backup update files is checked. Any ideas?
