Idmss push notifications "failed to subscribe"

no video, just live feed. thats the huge disadvantage. But at least its something.

Idmss push notifications "failed to subscribe"

nope, default could be, but pushes direct from cams work fine and consistent, just not NVR. Have tried full reset and still only cams work. so I'm just waiting till the next version to try again cause nothing else to try.

Idmss push notifications "failed to subscribe"

thats what the "no matter what" part meant ;) doesnt even work on my local network and port forwards have no affect on that. what we can gather is that there is no set solution to get pushes to work. its a crap shoot.

Idmss push notifications "failed to subscribe"

pushes from camera working fine for me, no sdcard, no forwarding. pushes from nvr not working no matter what.

Idmss push notifications "failed to subscribe"

gotcha edit: well, reset and redid everything. Still doesnt work. So, I give up until the next update. Nothing else I can test. At least Cam pushes work I guess, so I can at least get linked to the live feed. :\

Idmss push notifications "failed to subscribe"

Cool thanks for the screens and info. How about the NVR IVS page? Want to see your Log, Message, etc boxes. thanks :) And I've been triggering local alarms to force a push, so main/sub wouldn't affect that. Just hates me and dont wanna work. Getting to the point of reset. Also, what OS/Browser...

Idmss push notifications "failed to subscribe"

Ya, IVS wont even push on my internal network. Guess I'll need to do more testing to figure out the problem. Maybe reset everythigng to defaults and start over. Can someone post a screenshot of their IVS page so I can see what check boxes people have checked?

    Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

That isn't my script I linked, but I would assume the same. setup a string with 0-4, or maybe more, and send it. see which lines work or dont :)

Hmm, ya mine are open to establish connections outward. Strange that cams can push, but not NVR with same setup. Can you post your gDMSS version? Wanna make sure.. Also wish there was a way to send test pushes so I didn't have to walk to a camera and flail about every time..

Idmss push notifications "failed to subscribe"

I don't have any ports forwarded, really don't want to open the NVR to the outside since we can't know for sure how secure it really is. Worked before without it. Also, cams are currently sending pushes just fine without anything forwarded, just not the NVR. Will have to look into it further.. :\

same result. we were so close! :|

Idmss push notifications "failed to subscribe"

Unless your camera has an SDcard, that's because you're not accessing the NVR. That's why this situation sucks. Can potentially get notifications at least straight from cams, but can never view playback :\

@SvenVD Thanks for updating. I have a few cameras in corridor mode (vertical) and have uncommented and set autostretch to False, but they are still being stretched. Using IPC-HFW5231E-Z12 - can't read at night. Recommend settings?

You need to set up separate day and night profiles and trigger them with something. Either a script on your computer, home automation system...something. Info for http commands here. Continue experimenting with shutter speed, you're on the right track, you just need it faster it looks like. In...

Switch Dahua Day/Night Profile via IPC HTTP API

I was able to google up to api 1.56. see if its any different for you.. you need to add dummy hardware and dummy on/off switch (the brand you select doesnt matter) in domoticz. Then edit that switch and paste code into "on" and "off" actions. You'll need to experiment to find your config...
