    Rather interesting to watch this character...

    Yup, I have the Elk M1 for several years now, no problems with the alarm at all, I also used it to open and close my chicken coop door in the morning and close it in the evenings. Saved me from going outside to do it manually. Nice system for security, or to open or turn things on and off etc...

    I have a question about the 2mp Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret IPC-HDW5231R-Z, and the 8MP IR Eyeball Network Camera IPC-HDW5830R-Z since the 2MP IPC-HDW5231R-Z is good in the dark... if you have a lighted up porch wouldn't the 8PM be better for mug shots if you need to crop and print?

    I'm not disagreeing, matter in fact i agree... maybe that's why I returned the Reolink system, and my Cat5e cabling... day late and a dollar short LOL I searched and did my best to post and find info on everything I needed... So whether it is made by a good manufacture or not, I will not know...

    I'll let you know what the label on the box and or wire says about the manufacture... Plus I will be able to test it to make sure it is Cat6 and Solid copper... I would think that ones biggest mistake would be CCA...
