    Shit…Why?

    Another shit delivery from Amazon!

Had a Hobbit deliver an Amazon package today.

I've just noticed that a Fox had done a decent dump of poo, on the grass. It's now been flattened out. I suspect the Hobbit, had trodden on it whilst running. Oh what a shame! I'll leave the poo in situ, just incase the Hobbit returns.

Indeed. Sign of the times, these days!

Had a Hobbit deliver an Amazon package today.

Oh I shouldn't complain really. At least he or she (not sure) chucked it by the front door. Had this twit deliver some fragile networking kit, including Hard Drives! The other day. I've complained obviously!

Had a Hobbit deliver an Amazon package today.

Amazon asked for feedback for delivery. Not sure what to say. Perhaps. Small Hobbit ran to door, chucked delivery on doorstep, didn't knock on door or ring doorbell and then run off at high speed.

    Cable length in junction box

The OP did also mention " Keystone adapter also has to be fitted". Which was very helpful. I never new that. I've always left it outside the mount.

    Cable length in junction box

Minimal as possible would make sense. Sure no definitive length for the ethernet cable. Quite often a bit of a squeeze to encase connectors in a smaller housing.

Plenty of Aliens in the UK.

    remote viewing not working

"NAT Loopback" is likely causing the issue. Google search may assist. Perhaps you can use the local IP address when at home of the camera or NVR/DVR?

    Britain is Lost

You drinking that bourbon booze again? Thanks for your compliments, if it was. Sure it was! Do agree with your posts, regarding UK, it's a unpleasant place in many places. Lucky I'm far south in West Sussex and don't suffer to much crap! Indeed BBC, ITV, the local TV terrestrial broadcasting is...

    Britain is Lost

Hang on! I've just remembered that I have 5 children, perhaps I don't need to buy the replacements. Especially as I live in the UK, and don't need balls.

    Britain is Lost

I'll buy some spare testicles if anyone has some spare. Just the other day, i got plums run-over by an idiot on a high powered "electric" skateboard. Reported it to the police and apparently they have dealt with the culprit.

    NVR STOP RECORDING

Your Seagate hard drive is dated 2017, 8 years old. Could be the cause of your initial problem. Aquire a new surveillance drive?

my damn newish dahua nvr just died, how to fix?

Trash time for the harddrive then. Well done for trying.

    Driving in Reverse? WTF?

Did you drink to many Bourbons and rewinded the footage?

my damn newish dahua nvr just died, how to fix?

It may be a good idea to connect the known faulty harddrive to a PC and completely format. Then refit to NVR and format again, via NVR interface. Worth a try if you have the correct sata/power cables for PC.

Thought that dog walker had let her dog shit, on a Islamic turbans persons head, and that's the reason why she was dramatically pushed away. Could be wrong again. Perhaps next time for the dog to do a good thing.

    Britain is Lost

I've definitely had enough in the UK. It's the "final straw for me"! (good old days saying, from years ago!) Just switched the TV on and it's saturated with the Euros football match. England Vs Spain and guess what? It's a women's game!

Well done for looking into the issue, I thought maybe causing the issue. Not sure how to assist further, apart from contacting Asus, so to hopefully resolve.

Oh it was supposed to one of my silly childish jokes. Never mind!

Extremely slow loading when connected to home network, but accessing external domain?

May be a issue caused by the Router. I recall it's known as "NAT Lookback". Perhaps a Google search can assist further.

Expert needed to reduce/eliminate flickering on DVR

I can understand the reason for the battery backup. Let's stick with the original problem with the interference. If it's just one camera that has an issue with the flickering. Indeed I would suggest trying a separate 12 DC/2 amp power supply, just for that camera. Another possibility would be...

Expert needed to reduce/eliminate flickering on DVR

Your analogue DVR/cables and cameras are very very susceptible to RF interference. Never heard or experienced the hard drive's emitting the interference. I've fitted many analogue DVR's/XVR's systems in the past (now only NVR's/IP) and always tried to use full copper screened coaxial cables. So...

    IPC-T5442TM-AS Encode Mode Auto Resetting

I would suspect that the NVR is overriding the cameras settings. Check the NVR to see if H265 "Auto Switch " is active via settings/camera/camera list. Turn it off if active.

    NVR freezing (sometimes) Question?

Saltser. Your previous posts are mostly requesting assistance with multiple problems, with cameras & NVR's. Think you must be very unlucky, to have so many problems with your CCTV system. Hopefully others that have already provided some advice will assist you further.
