Dahua recommendation - Point Of Sale overhead camera and DVR Integration
Remodeling an establishment. Ceiling height is ~12 feet. By the math, a varifocal at max zoom (12mm?) would give me solid resolution on the POS screen and drawer, but is there a more specialized camera that would suit better. Also I know that there's a theoretical POS printer integration on... -

DAHUA Camera + NVR LPR and Face Rec Functionality
Quick Q for those in the know. Both my cameras (HDW5231R-Z, and HDW4231EM-AS) expose Facial Capture and LPR interfaces on my DAHUA NVR (5216-4KS2), however they don't appear to function. Is this a firmware/setup thing or is it just a case of the NVR being so generic that it exposes controls...
