I can't seem to find anything on hikvision's site. perhaps the cam is too old that they removed any firmware for it altogether? Which seems weird since I bought it only a year or so ago.. appreciate any help!

Is it worthwhile to upgrade my cam to the latest version or what have folk's experiences been (either feature wise or stability wise)? I did try already. I tried using the web interface and unfortunately it keeps saying "upgrading failed" instantly. I am pretty certain i'm doing it correctly...
