    Lorex LNB8005-C with Blue Iris?

Just an FYI that years ago we bought a 16 camera Lorex LHV model from Costco. Yes, the UI was awful but we worked with the BI dev and he added our model to BI. Been 5 yrs or so now and hands down the most reliable system we've owned, and HD too. Before the Lorex system we had Axis, Acti, Sharx...

    Blue Iris UI3

First of all, belated thanks to the dev for this awesome work. Secondly, the "skip one frame" functionality does not seem to work in Chrome. It works fine in Firefox - skips one frame of video. In Chrome, the same video either skips to the beginning of the alert or the end of the alert itself...

Here's mine....did you change/forget the IPs port number? For example: 192.168.1.109:8111

    BI and Lorex DVR

Do you have a screenshot of your camera properties? To lose all camera's, I would be more apt to think the Lorex DVR has been given a different IP address. Did you recently reboot your router etc? Perhaps the routers DHCP handed the Lorex a different IP and so now all the cameras are not...

Motion Detect - Only Recording End of Scene

Hello all, I am having an issue where BI is 'too slow' to react to recording motion. If motion occurs, BI only captures the very last few frames, or nothing at all. It's as if the motion is too fast for BI and so it does not trigger in time. I have set both sliders all the way to the left in...

Blue Iris PTZ Range of Motion

Sounds like you have selected an incorrect camera/PTZ flavor. I had the same issue with a foscam and tried a different foscam selection - that fixed it.

Lorex PTZ - Can view but can't control. Can anyone help?

Interesting. The DVR and the PC running the BI software are on the same network - but no ptz movement. So it seems the only thing that is configurable, is the PTZ selection?

Lorex PTZ - Can view but can't control. Can anyone help?

In the router, I have forwarded the IP port # for the DVR and I am using the same port # in BI - Ive played around with cameras for a few years now but this has me stumped. ANY suggestions welcome

Lorex PTZ - Can view but can't control. Can anyone help?

Thanks again fenderman. Same thing BI said when he remoted into my PC. He said to try the Dahua h.264 ptz setting but it does nothing. Is the Dahus also connected by BNC or is it an IP camera? Im having a hard time understanding if BI is pointed to the Lorex DVR for 8 cameras, how can the same...

Lorex PTZ - Can view but can't control. Can anyone help?

Thanks fenderman. I have contacted BI support and he had access to my PTZ and took details. However, hes super busy and that was 3 weeks ago. I thought I would sniff around and see if I could at least help figure this out. A little on the technology the camera uses for PTZ. Flir bought Lorex...

Lorex PTZ - Can view but can't control. Can anyone help?

Hello all, I recently setup a Lorex DVR with 8+ cameras hooked up to it (not IP cameras). I know these systems are not 'pro grade' but I love this setup. 1080p video and 15fps from a standalone DVR. The set came with the following PTZ camera...

Run main Blue Iris application on TWO computers - same content?

I think I'm going the 'teamviewer' route until the desktop client makes an appearance. Thanks all for the suggestions.

Run main Blue Iris application on TWO computers - same content?

Thanks so much - good to know. The second PC wont be deleting any files, just creating videos. So this might work. I also have a code for BI 3 so I may try this :)

Run main Blue Iris application on TWO computers - same content?

Sorry guys. I think I'm confusing things. What I need is two separate copies of BI on two separate PCs that connect to a shared drive that is storing all BI activity. Both PCs need to be able to review/edit/view camera footage. As if the second PC/BI install, did not exist. Totally independent...

Help with blue iris camera asap!!!!

You are correct, there is no optical zoom on a $60 Foscam. But if you want a cheap and cheerful camera that you can place virtually any place in the home and have control over it, I still like Foscam. I think 'liking' a camera is directly attached to your expectations. For $60, I'm not...

Help with blue iris camera asap!!!!

I disagree. Foscams can be great value for money. $60 for a PTZ and nowadays, decent image. I have one for 'backup' and it works great. Keep it dry and you should get years of service. Can you 'ping' the address of the camera? Or, go into your router and match the MAC address of the camera...

Run main Blue Iris application on TWO computers - same content?

Thanks all. bp2008 - the main functionality I need is the ability to save video clips. Though impressive, it doesn't seem like your webpage can do that. Thanks anyway.

Run main Blue Iris application on TWO computers - same content?

Thanks Fenderman. I though as much. A desktop client interface would be great but I think that was rumored back in Dec 2014. Not that I'm complaining on the wait, the BI dev is an extraordinarily hard-worker. I never had a software package that is so well maintained.

Run main Blue Iris application on TWO computers - same content?

Hello, I have been using BI for some time now and one particualr feature seems missing to me. Is it possible for TWO computer's to have the main BI interface. In other words, I have 2 computers, one computer can use all of the features of the main application such as saving videos, adjusting...

    BI and Lorex DVR

I'm successfully using BI with a Lorex LHV2000 system (1080p) by using the LHV1000 selection. For your camera issue, from the camera config page, are you selecting the cameras number? For example, CAM 1 etc. PS - Im working with BI to get the Lorex PTZ included in the supported cameras. :)
