I'm using IPCTDDNS. It sometimes goes dormant and needs to be woken up with a manual update, but it's been working well lately.

The IP address is checked every 5 minutes (300 seconds). I could extend that, but then the cameras would be inaccessible for longer periods of time.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately those settings don’t have an impact on the number of emails. When looking at the details, those are apparently only for the Pushover app alerts.

I had to turn off the Watchdog alerts in BIT because the number of email alerts is getting to be outrageous. I received 37 already today, and 89 in the last 2 days. They are legit. The internet provider changes our IP address very frequently, and that's out of our hands. There is an option...

Here's an update: I'm back to version 5.5.9.6 from 8/1/2022 and see only 1 minor difference from the current version. Now all 10 of my cameras have image in BI, but many of them are old, ranging from 8/2022 to yesterday. The display makes it look like they're current since they don't display...

It didn't work out so well counting on the software to rebuild the DB automatically. The rebuilt DB showed I'm 31.4GB overallocated! I ran the Repair DB process and I'll see how many days that holds up.

Thanks. I'll give that a try. I'm currently on 5.6.9.4 dated 1/27/2023. I didn't realize I could remove the DB folder and still have it work.

Thanks for the note Mike. I restarted Blue Iris Tools and gave it a few minutes to refresh. The web site still shows an old IP address and gives me an error when I try to update it manually. Can you think of anything else to try?
