Ähem - nope, I did not activate this. I thought this is something different because it has a seperate tab in the settings area (like motion detection, missing object etc). I was always only working with the settings of the IVS.

Maybe it hangs with the global setup? When I draw the 3 vertical and 1 horizontal rulers, and the do the height and width verification, it always says 0.00 beside the line. Does not feel right. Its the IPC-T5442-TM-AS from Andy. FW Rev is V2.820.0000000.0.R, Build Date: 2020-11-14

Sigh - IVS does not like me ... I redraw the rules, it said rule drawing complete, the lines turned blue. I saved. Multiple times. I turned it on in liveview - nothing, no rule is shown. I even unpowered the cam - no effect. Damn, whats the problem here?

I've read, the AI functions of the cam are much better than on the NAS, that's why I am looking to set it up like this. But you're saying, that basically I have only two options: A) let the cam do the IVS, and record the video to a sd card or NAS share. But then I don't get notifications...

Its just that the webinterface of the cam only gives me the options of record and/or snapshot. The survaillance station can record the stream of the cam, I tested it, but needs the trigger of the IVS alarm. Well, I just would like to have the cam compute the IVS data. Hmm.
