I had this same issue. I had an AMD video card that wasn't doing anything but eating power. I 100% believe it was the AMD drivers. I Uninstalled AMD software and drivers, removed video card and it never happened again.

Is there advantages? I was very happy with Deepstack. Never any missed notifications and maybe only like 2% false triggers

Seemed to be Intel hardware decoding turned back on. I've disabled it on all cameras and it's back to normal. Was maxing 16GB of ram lol

Should be the .rdb files in c:\deepstack\redis

Uninstall DS, delete DS folder, install again. It will work for a while. I can get 3mo+ out of it by doing this. It saves a ton of garbage in the DS folder.

I have the same problem, excessive ram usage to the point of sever system issues. Mine seems to nearly 100 instances of Python. I know that's what's used for Deepstack. Harddrive isn't full when this is happening. No idea why it's doing it. It happens about 15min after rebooting.

Nope.. Spoke too soon. It's still showing very low FPS/Key but it at least shows a bitrate now.

Hey Team, I recently migrated everything over to a new system to get more performance, it worked. CPU not getting above 40% where as before I was spiking to 100% any time 2 cameras detected motion with Deepstack. My issue is BlueIris shows 100% cpu usage when its still low, like 45%.

I've been known to leave an SSD "hanging" in my cases when out of room. It has 0 moving parts. It doesn't need to be anchored and rubber isolated like a mechanical drive. Just hook it up and let it hang.

I ended up fixing the python error by delete the file sin this cache folder. I did on a whim. Seemed like my error message was pulling from a dead/corrupt DB. I cleared the files that were inside: C:\DeepStack\windows_packages\pycache

The GUI version I found for Win10 required a passkey and you can't get a passkey anymore because its moved to open source. The difference is the open source Win10 fork is command line. I'm not sure how to get the Win10 GUI version working at this point. I do have the native Deepstack running...
