    Update: I adjusted some of the trigger settings and it seems to have fixed the issue. I'm using an older version of blue iris at home and the gray recording icon is always present. Not sure if they changed something with that on the newer update?

    Cameras don't seem to be recording. It looks like the only icon in the top right of the camera picture is a gray bell. It doesn't have the gray circle that indicates it's ready to record alerts/etc. I'm not sure what that means or how to resolve it. Thanks in advance for any help. Edit...

    I think I'm phrasing this wrong on my searches, because I can't find anything definitive. But when enabling Use Zones and Hot Spots, do I want to color the area that I want to monitor for movement yellow? Or do I want to use the yellow to block the areas that I don't want to detect for motion...

    So, it was 9:55am here and I updated the global schedule "10pm-7am" to trigger at 10:00am and did a restart of the cameras and that seems to have caused the profiles to change correctly and begin recording. I think since I was changing the global schedule setting, it wasn't causing the cameras...

    That's just the name of the global schedule I created. I changed it from 10am-11am (the red bar in the schedule window) to see if it would switch profiles on schedule, but it didn't.

    Ahh, I think I see what you mean. I didn't realize profiles were set up per camera through the record tab. Here's a new screenshot that I think you were initially looking for: Would I want to set that to continuous + alerts?

    I'm having some trouble with profiles at the moment. I thought I had my driveway camera set to record continuously from 10pm-7am, and then return to default (record when triggered) outside of those hours. However, when I checked my timeline this morning, it looks like it didn't record...
