So I finally loaded version 5 and since that one camera no longer triggers record . Its a Hikvision. I can record manually but only for 30 seconds. Also cannot get cams on cell only wifi. I wish I had not uPGraded Anyone know why the tilde symbol is showing ? Thanks

My AMD eight core with 16 gig of ram runs Blue Iris well with 7 cameras . Tonight , lightning kept all cams recording at once with only a 28 to 32 percent cpu load . I have 4 Hikvision 3mp , 1 Foscam 720p and 2 640 x 480 .

You could just run Blue Iris as a background service . It would load automatically on reboot . What is nice is if you have your PC password protected the Blue Iris program will still run before the password is entered. This is also good in case your windows updates and reboots without your...
