One camera "no video" for unexplained 6+ hour gap

UniFi let me set IP for any device as static Both the router and UNIVIEW camera configuration are matched static IP’s DHCP is off at both ends for the cameras The pool is wide open but that’s irrelevant using static as I understand it

One camera "no video" for unexplained 6+ hour gap

"Possibility" something to do with router? The Unifi did not have a static IP set, but I remember setting one for each Cam 1 and Cam 2. But today only Cam 1 had the static IP so perhaps something happened? Will monitor it, and it has been reset to static.

One camera "no video" for unexplained 6+ hour gap

I don't think the IR died... sunrise and daylight was well before the 8:42 AM when the camera suddenly resumed recording. I checked all the settings on the camera interface and nothing changed. I don't think the camera has a log, not sure will check. The cameras are on static IP's.

One camera "no video" for unexplained 6+ hour gap

I checked the video this morning and discovered that one of my cameras (I only run two!) stopped recording about 1AM and showed "no video" and then began recording around 8AM. Camera 1 had no interruptions, just Camera 2. I checked the database logs and rebuilt the DB but there were no apparent...

I upgraded to Windows 11, new CPU, Memory, and a Motherboard - Success!

I decided to upgrade just my CPU, memory, and Motherboard. I was on an older I7-6700, which worked fine... but I the annoying "Windows end of life" messages...time to upgrade to Windows 11 (which I use on my laptop and main computers). The current CPU and motherboard were not eligible for the...

Camera IP changed on it's own

Excellent information. My search words did not pull up this known issue (I tried looking first before posting). So I can roll back, should it be 5.6.2 or an earlier version? He said "newer than" so I want to be sure. I don't need to be a "beta tester" :)

Camera IP changed on it's own

BTW I am using Ubiquiti UDM and the cameras are set to fixed IP's. I went back and looked at the BI Log again and the IP showed access by the IP for my Iphone... but I have no idea why that happened. I did not log in remotely that morning. Stumped.

Camera IP changed on it's own

A few days ago my IP address for CAM 1 changed on it's own to the IP address for CAM 2. I am only running two Uniview 4K cameras on BI with CPAI. Never a problem. We were not home, so I can't understand why CAM 1 suddenly began recording with the IP of CAM 2...so I ended up with duplicate...

    Power outage mini-diasater

I did not think a 45 minute power outage on a 107 degree day would cause all kinds of problems with Blue Iris and the Code AI.!! Yes I am on a Cyberpower 1500va battery backup. When the power came back on, the Code AI did not work, the cameras were showing video feed but zero "triggers". Also...

Nvidia big headache lost my Code AI detection

First, I got things back working. However I removed the Nvidia GTX 1650 from the computer and switched Code AI to "CPU" as well as the associated settings in BI. Yesterday, I got the "popup" to update the software for the Nvidia card (nothing unusual about that) with the "game ready" drivers...

    I keep getting "Nothing Found"

I did the install yesterday... the only thing I did which "may" have kicked it into gear was I "unchecked" the USE GPU and then rebooted, the rechecked it. I am using a Nvidia GTX1650 so it should have plenty of horsepower to run two cameras. My CPU is an I7-6700 with 32g RAM so I don't think...

    I keep getting "Nothing Found"

Now I have become completely baffled.... just like that it has started working. I have no clue... did not change anything. The "ALERTS" are showing in the left column and the LOGS show detection. OMG

    I keep getting "Nothing Found"

My system failed detection a couple days ago using DeepStack, so I switched to Code AI. It seems that I installed things correctly per instructions, and the server is running fine. However all objects are "nothing found" and Blue Iris won't post anything in the "ALERTS". Is something missing...

Alerts won't post, and AI seems horrible timeouts

Exactly why I have NOT upgraded to CP..... but I'm stymied with what is amiss. Perhaps I need to reload DS. Not sure.

Alerts won't post, and AI seems horrible timeouts

Yes. Several times. I have postponed switching to Code Project... but perhaps Deep stack is depreciated and it's time to go for it?

PS I checked Windows Task Manager and now I don't see Deepstack running in processes.... something happen to DS?

Alerts won't post, and AI seems horrible timeouts

Two days ago this happened. I am running only two cameras (Univ 4mp) and suddenly I am getting "database" error (rebuilt twice!), and the "ALERTS" are not posting in the sidebar. I am getting AI timeouts of 15,000 ms.... I rolled back BI to 5.6.5.0 thinking my last update broke the system. I...

What causes these artifacts when camera seeing moving person?

I have an 17-6700K with a Nvidia graphics card. IF I use BIOS/UEFI to turn ON the on board graphics and use the Nvidia card I get exactly the same "GHOST" trails on live view. Despite what I read in some on line article, I could not "do both". Might want to check to see if it's a conflict...

Scrambled green video in UI3 on latest 5.5.9.6 stable update

Trial and error I posted in another thread here.. It only happens in Chrome so yes it's a Chrome thing. Turning off hardware acceleration in Chrome did NOT fix the issue. Changing the UI3 setting for Video Player (in UI3 setting page) to Javascript solved the issue. Using "Automatic" or...

What is causing the green on my cam?

Turning off acceleration in Chrome did not fix the issue. As soon as I turned back to Automatic or HTML then the green screen returned. Again it only happens with Chrome and for me on my I-4770 Never on my AMD computer using UI3

What is causing the green on my cam?

As soon as I use "HTML" or "AUTOMATIC" the green screen appears. Setting it to JAVASCRIPT does NOT. Help file pointed me to the answere. Don't know the dynamics of my i7-4770...and on Chrome... it's the only combination that causes the issue: Chrome+HTML/AUTOMATIC.

What is causing the green on my cam?

I only get the green screen using UI3 on Chrome, and only one computer, an older i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz. I changed the UI3 from HTML to Javascript. The issue has resolved. BTW my server (i7-6700) never has green screen. Also my "main computer' an AMD 5-5900X with Nvidia RTX 3090 also has no...
