    Probably the reason is that you use an account with DMSS and all family members use the account? If you add the recorder on the DMSS app "local" with QR/serial and without account you can control the notifications on each device.

    There is an option at SMD to set it to low/medium/high. Did you try to increase? Also there is an threshold for the PTZ tracking size. Try to decrease. I noticed that it indeed is not so sensitive as you would expect. Dont have an PTZ live now so not able to look into it now.

    The bracket definitely helps for rain and snow. Not perfect but reduces it alot. What about painting the camera in the same color or color that not stands out like white.

    Try to format the SD card so it can be optimized for your camera. There is a format option at storage. Also check the detection region at video detection.

    So is this one location? And by p2p you mean you can't add new devices or do not see live view(or both)? Maybe a change of ip adress from provider or router? Nvr and camera in different subnet? Router offline is also an option. Are you sure the network is working like it should?

    If you really want to properly deinstall dmss and find out if the app is the problem. Go to app settings of your phone; -delete all cache dmss -delete all storage used by dmss -force stop dmss -restart phone -install dmss Good luck

    With and older firmware NVR i managed to reset it with the CCTV super password app. Select Dahua > Method > Reset with daytime > Press super password Then use the code to login. I believe i used login name; admin and then the super password generated by the app...

    Are the camera's directly connected to the NVR? Did you try to lower the bandwith? What settings do you use at 'video detection' > settings > threshold and sensitivity?

    Hello everyone, I have learned on this forum to enhance the image of the camera's using manual shutter and gain:thumb:. Since the new WEB layout / GUI from Dahua i cannot reach the exposure settings anymore. I see it but it is 'greyed out'. Any thoughts or ideas to solve this? See image below;

    What location did you input the settings? At the nvr or directly on the webserver of the camera? I noticed that some settings on this camera are not being pushed from the NVR to the camera when changing settings with active deterrence.

    How are your camera's/vto connected? Thru nvr? Did you check if it is live on your nvr. Maybe password related.

    Not sure what it caused but what i would try; -restart recorder/camera's Did you try VBR encode setting to see if it would help load faster for dmss app? (Although CBR is preferred for most people)

    I had the same problem as original poster. For me this helped: -Go to DMSS App -Go to 'self' right bottom -General -Check notification to 'ON'
