Issues now with new Comcast router

Incredibly, I figured it out. Used an IP scanner to find the IP addresses of the cameras, then replaced the IP address of the cameras in Blue Iris with the ones I found. Thank GOD that worked. Thanks again guys, I appreciate your time!

Issues now with new Comcast router

Ugh, this is a total nightmare. Of course Comcast said to consult with the manufacturer etc. What does someone like me do in this situation? Where I have somewhat intermediate tech skills (can follow directions etc) but am not fully comfortable doing this on my own?

Issues now with new Comcast router

Thank you also for the info. Same thing...just a bit too complicated for me. If I change one number I know my whole network will break and it'll be a huge mess.

Issues now with new Comcast router

Thanks for the info. This is just a bit complicated for me to be honest...I'm going to call Comcast and see if/how they can help. I realize their first line of support will be incapable.

Issues now with new Comcast router

Hi, please help! Everything was cool with my old setup, which was my own modem and a Medialink router...on Comcast. The latest BI version. I upgraded my plan and am now using their modem and when I open BI, it says No Signal from all of my cams. Failed to connect. This, I think, is related to...

Blue Iris to YouTube Live help please!

Is this a Flash issue given Flash is no longer supported or whatever?

Blue Iris to YouTube Live help please!

I don't know, I mean I visually confirmed it. I'll try typing it in but I don't see how that can possibly matter if it's correct. I assume the username/password fields have to both be completed using my Google login? The frustrating thing is that I had this working for months, and now it just...

Blue Iris to YouTube Live help please!

I cannot figure out why this doesn't work for me anymore. I did a few months ago but not anymore. Here are my settings. Note that I erased the streamkey but I pasted it in exactly as YouTube Studio shows it. Any ideas? THANK YOU!

    Logitech Alert cameras in BI

I can sort of get them working in BI but they're VERY unreliable. Interesting that it might have been a software update that did it. Thanks for chiming in.

Howdy - It's amateur hour and I have questions...

I guess I'd like to try to figure out something a bit less complicated than needing a whole new desktop to run 24/7 as well as a 4+ port POE switch. That's why the Logitech system has been nice...I can watch it live from anywhere anytime even if my desktop is off, and when I turn my desktop on...

Howdy - It's amateur hour and I have questions...

Let's say I get a separate desktop computer and let it run all the time...seems like a lot of electricity, no? Aside from that, how would I view the footage on my main desktop computer's monitors? Thanks!

Howdy - It's amateur hour and I have questions...

Hi guys, here's my situation. I've had Logitech Alert cameras that have been pretty good to me. I like that I can watch everything while on my desktop, and that it'll record overnight onto the memory card when my desktop is off and there's motion where I define. But, they're unreliable and...

    Logitech Alert cameras in BI

I think it's a username/password issue because I bought a new (used) Alert camera on eBay and am able to get it working just fine in BI using admin/admin. Thanks for the help! And, I'll be back with more questions. :)

I've tried that, same error. That's how it's set now. Any chance it's a port issue or a router setting?

Same, no signal. Are you using the original network adapter that came with the system? The logitech one.

    Logitech Alert cameras in BI

Will try the other now. It's definitely the same username and password I use to log into the web version of the commander software. I don't have to change the port #s or anything right? Thanks again.
