JUST UNREAL!! I guess its my lucky day! I just found a beta firmware thread for my REOLINK 520 cams for fixing the Iframe issue - downloaded and installed....WORKS!! So It pays to research!! Now just to figure out how to get the I+ to show up instead of the I Hardware acceleration.

Ok, Starting over - sort of. I kept my WIN install, but reinstalled DS and BI. I also installed the Amcrest Cam I got thats confirmed (by the forum) ok. It SEEMS to be better. It did Identify me as a person - only 58% so im a little hurt - lol! At least I know its FINALLY working, now I have...

I totally erased all cameras (went to 0%), then erinstalled the Amcrest cam as well as deepstacks, and set the ports to 82 - still the same. Timeout after 15 seconds. Should I be using the CPU or GPU? Ive tried both with no change.

Do I just change it in the global settings?

Some of the process increase may be becaus im remoted into the PC.

Yeah, I have changed ports to 5000 on DS. I dont have any custom models. It does show it running , and I confirm that when I hit the test in browser link. Maybe the port is screwing it up. Should be 82 - stock?

Thats the thing - It IS working, and its detecting motion - to the point its taking a snapshot. How its handling it from there - I have no clue of what its SUPPOSED to do - or what it actually is doing.

I went through that optimization link - MOST all I have done. Im only at 8% utilization on the CPU.

I did get the Key to go to 1.0 as I found the interval setting. Thanks. Now to figure out Why this cam is performing the same as the REOLINKS

Im still trying to understand the Process of BI-> DS -> BI based on the snapshots. I understand, apparently, that the camera makes a difference, but then Just dropping in this Amcrest cam with the .5 key (as you stated already) SHOULD just work. But im still getting these timeout issues on ALL...

Yeah, it was set initially on 15 for both streams , and I changed it to 22. BOTH times it is only showing .5 and never 1.0 for the key. Ive reinstalled DS SOOOO many times now and its not changed. Maybe its the lastest SEPT version im running? Id just like ONE cam to work so I know the DS setup...

Nope, dedicated BI machine. I setup another cam I have thats an Amcrest and up the FPS to 22 on both streams - showing a .5 key on that one. Doesnt seem to work on that cam either - still getting the timeouts and restarts in the log.

Plus im lacking in understanding of how DS works. I thought BI took the screenshot, offloaded it to DS, then DS looked at the photo to determine what was in it, then sent that info back to BI to tell it to "record" or clip that section of video.

But my FPS and SUB FPS are matching like yours are. Not like the other members screenshot you posted. Are you saying 15 FPS isnt enough? Im Running an I7 6700k with 24 megs of RAM

Right now I just have 2 cameras im trying to set up - just to get a working config before I copy to the rest. They are REOLINK RLC-520 cams.
