Power Long Range (coax) Adapters from NVR?
Of course Dahua markets these extenders so I'm guessing they made sure their NVR switches would negotiate with them. Tried 2 different Hik NVRs and neither would even light the power LED. $50 TP Link switch connected immediately. -

Yeah probably should have specified all Dahua for this but got spooked by their pull out of the US market (where we shop). Is your NVR an ePOE Dahua model? -

Thanks Adaptor spec says 'Supports IEEE802.3af and IEEE8022.3at Power Supply Standards' Hikvision NVR switch also says '16, RJ-45 10/100 Mbps self-adaptive Ethernet interface, IEEE 802.3 af/at'. Still couldn't get these to work and had to employ a simple POE switch upstream. Caveat emptor. -

Anyone have experience powering Long Range Adapters (LR1002-1ET / LR1002-1EC) from an NVR Hik V5 7716? How do you force the NVR switch to auto negotiate the POE? -

Smart PSS Quits Unexpectedly
Anyone getting randomly booted out of Smart PSS? The app quits and must be restarted and logged into. Previous views must be restarted from menu.
