It does seem the Auto Focus was lost. I went into the camera frome the NVR IE and in Conditions\Zoom and Focus I clicked on the Auto Focus button and it all came into focus. Thanks @smiticans

That was it. I never went into Smart Plan and told the camera to use IVS

I was just watching a video stating I need to enable IVS in Smart Plan. I am trying that now.

Well I'm sad that I have to report that nothing changed, none of the 5442s will send an alert. I am at a total loss here now at what to do next.

LOL!!!!!!! I almost threw it out the door a couple of times. Fingers crossed that this all works or it all may just become an expensive boat anchor :). Just finished resetting the NVR and cameras and have uninstalled the DMSS app. Waiting for the NVR to finish rebooting and have a go at it...

I did NOT follow Bigredfish PSA. I did the factory reset on the NVR while the cameras were plugged in. So are you saying to reset all the cameras now back to factory and set up again from scratch one at a time?

Yes, shows this. Also, the Remote Channel number is the same for each and no option to change. Is that a problem?
