It would probably be good to add more closer to the front door. Then go ahead and add a few more inside, and probably more in the back inside as well.
For the outside, from about 10 pm to 6 am, I'll likely set up AI for persons coming close to the building during those hours, where it notifies...
I like the idea of moving the cameras up behind the counter.
I'm not crazy about the dual-lens cameras. They are not truly 180 degrees and have the distortion issue in the center (the building you see in the pic below is considerably wider than it looks).
Here is the EmpireTech...
We generally leave the lights on in the showroom 24/7. There are no windows as the entire building is wrapped in double metal. The front door is Lexan with a steel door behind it. We ran LED lights for 9 years in our other store and I think we replaced one ballast that burnt out. We will likely...
So the following:
Exterior: EmpireTech IPC-B54IR-Z4E-S3 1/1.8" CMOS 4MP 8mm–32mm Vari-Focal WDR IR AI Network Bullet Camera
Front door zoomed low: EmpireTech IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 1/1.8" CMOS 4MP IR Starlight 2.7mm–12mm Vari-Focal Turret Security Camera (would be easier to conceal than bullet...
I've pretty much narrowed it down to where I'd like to install the cameras. 8 cameras inside and 6 outside. I may add one to view the roof. Major 4-lane highway is out in front of the showroom floor, about 40ft away from the front door. Looking at the front door of the showroom floor, there is...
I just learned this myself last week. It wasn't choppiness, but it was constantly refreshing with the HTML 5 setting. It was recommended that I try JavaScript, and it resolved my issues. I'd be curious as to when it is appropriate to use one over the other if it is anything other than the issues...
I don't just claim it... I got it! I worked with a guy that has done it all his life. Is it the best... absolutely not! But it is considerably better than what most folks have in their homes. :)
It is wireless, and the max throughput I'm getting on this particular tablet is 72Mbit/s. I'm not...
It's not choppy, just refreshing.
The tablet is wireless, but we have very little wireless use otherwise (phones) and an extremely robust network with better-than-average access points. Looking at my Omada Controller... the only thing connected to that AP were our phones which we were not...
I have a 14" tablet setup in our kitchen to view four cameras using UI3. It varies from every few seconds to every few minutes; a yellow box pops up (Detected HTML5 video player stall. Reopening video stream.), and the screen refreshes.
Any idea what might be causing it?
Thanks!
I have a second monitor at my computer that keeps UI3 streaming constantly so I can use the computer without losing view of the cameras. I want to keep all the cameras viewable on that display.
We have a tablet on our kitchen cabinet that is streaming UI3. Is it possible to have that tablet...
I do not have an SD card in the camera, and I have not done anything with global config.
Has anyone written instructions on how to set it up... and what does it actually do?
I have it on the day/night switch, so it goes to BW and IR at night.
Here's a shot of it what it looked like when I was getting all the alerts.
Here is when it's clear and before the rain, although just after dark.
I'm not sure. My log only goes back to 2:35am and this was all happening around 1am. I did not notice I could save the log until now. It's supposed to rain here again today/tonight, so I can look at it later and see.
I searched for this and found a few threads, but nothing I've done has worked. I still get hundreds of alerts during a rainy day.
It's mainly with my camera that I have Animals selected in IVS (deer feeder camera)... IPC-B54IR-ZE-S3. The other cameras are not so bad.
I viewed this post, but...
I thought it did not post because I did not see the post, but I now realize I needed to scroll for a mile to get past all the sticky threads.
I shut down the Config Tool and reopened it. I attempted the change again, and it worked immediately.
I've tried several different IP addresses that are free on the network, but it is not taking for some reason. Any ideas or suggestions on how to get it working?
I got mine installed, but I'm not sure how to set this up so that it auto-toggles between day and night. I did not realize it did not offer a monthly schedule that I could manually set or auto-switch like the other cameras I own.
I guess I can set my calendar reminder and change it on the first...
