The specs on the Hivision DS-2CD2732F-IS are exactly what I'm looking for but all of this hacking talk about Hikvision cameras has me worried. I'm looking for a camera I can plug in, make a few adjustments and have it work - in English. Is this the camera for me?

They are on sale locally for $89 and I would upgrade it to 8gb of memory and run Win7 with Blue Iris. It has an Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 at 2.93 GHz. The plan is to use a 60gb SSD for the OS and a 3-4tb drive for video storage. I'm looking to use no more than two 1080p cameras.
