I lost my quicksync. I thought that wouldn't matter much as most of the work is done on the cameras, and I do direct-to-disk and direct-to-wire when possible. I have come to realize that direct-to-wire only works on live viewing, not on recordings. That makes no sense to me. AM I missing something?

I have been experiencing a new and quite bizarr issue. SOme (most) cameras would intermittently start exhibiting FPS of around 1 on the UI3. CPU and memory usage does not spike or a nuything like that. If I open the client (running as service) on the server on the same camera, that fixes the FPS...

I have 3 4K ColorVu cameras. I have been mightily impressed. Their low-light performance is from another world. Those have a 1/1.2" CMOS sensor, which explains the great low-light performance. Has anybody had the opportunity to compare the 4K to the 4MP Colorvue cameras? The 4MP ones have 1/1.8"...

You have to pick one 4k camera for outdoor use. Price is a minor factor within the consumer world. Say up to $500. I know no one model will fit everybody's needs but you get one pick. Thanks.
