PIR or Breakbeam trigger for Blue Iris.

I know that there are several contact closure trigger bits of hardware that B.I. supports, but I have a couple of old Axis 2400 and 241Q boxes with external inputs and wonder if B.I. can be persuaded to see those?

    Core i3 v Core i7

Thanks for your helpful reply. I'm stating HD as the commonly understood industry standard term for 1920 x 1080 and HD+ as shorthand for something above that; either an Axis M3005 and/or 4Mpixel Hikvision in this particular case. I can, of course, crank the resolution down on those to standard...

    Core i3 v Core i7

I'm running BI quite happily on a 3.4GHz Core i7 with 4 HD IP cameras I want to set up a second server, but looking to economise a bit on hardware, if possible. I have a spare Core i3 machine running at 3.4GHz but it has a 1TB SSD compared to the 2TB spinning rust HD on the i7 - any views if...

    Reolink RLC-410: no signal

Yep, if username, password or port are wrong, you get a completely different error message. The image quality is very good when connected either to the Android app or using IE. Just seems odd that one model of Reolink works fine with B.I. and others do not. I had thought of using Hikvision...

Looking for a solution for a cheap solution for just two cameras - but I can't see a free version (apart from vms), just a 30 day trial.

    Reolink RLC-410: no signal

I have two Reolink IP cameras, the RLC-411S works fine. The RLC-410 works OK in IE (using the downloadable widget) and using the Android app. I cannot, however get it to run in Blue Iris. It finds the camera OK (and the error message changes if I disconnect the camera) but I get "no signal"...

    PC choice

Have just installed (demo) copy of BI and it is running well on an old Core-I5 laptop with a single HD IP cam. I'll be running a couple of HD (Axis M3005) cameras and an Axis 241Q with 4 standard res analogue cameras. What minimum PC spec should I be considering, before I get a licence key and...
