New ISP issues with Blue Iris

Thought I did but honestly it was last weekend. Can try again when I get home. Whole thing is a little frustrating. They told me when I asked for the service that they wouldn't help with setting up remote access to my cameras. I didn't expect them too. But I didn't think they would...

New ISP issues with Blue Iris

I have a static IP! They are so small that they have the whole thing set up with static IP's. But they want to do cookie cutter installs. So basically however my modem/router is set up, all modem/routers will be set up and they feel there is too much risk. Could be the line they are...

New ISP issues with Blue Iris

No apparently they don't want to enable DMZ or allow port forwarding to protect them from malicious attacks. So they refuse to do either. Which sucks! But for speed and reliable internet connection they beat Xplornet by a landslide. What I find weird though is that I can access my...

New ISP issues with Blue Iris

So i was one of those poor souls stuck with Satellite internet which is the worst and most unreliable service available. Recently, a new ISP provider offered fixed wireless service with better upload and download speeds, much lower latency, and consistent speeds/service. I was super excited...

Coincidence over. It didn't drop the other day when I cleared.

    AEVision NVR and Amcrest IP2M-844E

Yes that was how i figured it out actually. Love ODM! Helps out when nothing else seems to work. Anyhow, I tried different username password combinations until it let me in. Nothing like time to kill in front of a computer screen!

    AEVision NVR and Amcrest IP2M-844E

Sorry, it had to do with username and password. The NVR insisted on admin username and password.

Honestly Fenderman, I don't know what to tell you. Only that when I clear the logs and events and camera stats, the CPU usage drops. Has happened to often to just be a coincidence?

Possibly. Blue Iris found the camera on its own.

I will have to look when I am at home. It's the traffic button and you clear the logs (events, etc). Presto, loads go way down

Your CPU load shows on the bottom with Blue Iris. As well you can use your Resources Monitor.

I use the Android App regularly, but other than that, no.

I know it sounds like it should make no sense, but seriously my computer goes from 25-30% load to 10-15% load after clearing the logs. Consistently.

    New Computer

I have often found if you regularly clear logs the CPU usage load is much lower. I am in the habit now of reviewing and clearing the logs daily

    AEVision NVR and Amcrest IP2M-844E

While I agree and I may be returning the camera, I was first hoping someone might know the trick. I was able to get it to work in Blue Iris no problem at all. But I would like it working with the NVR. The only option in the camera web GUI is to make it ONVIF enabled. Which I did, and it is.

    AEVision NVR and Amcrest IP2M-844E

I have am 8 Channel AEVision NVR that supports all ONVIF protocols and several different brand cameras currently installed and working fine with it. Just bought an Amcrect IP2M-844E which really impressed me with it wide field of view and for the life of me I can not get it to display an image...
