I updated to the newest version today and I was having issue with BI not recording. I looked online and found this blueiris.rudisillnetworks.net - /ftp/ I downgraded to version 4.7.6.2 and now I am back where I was prior.

Nevermind, it just started working again. I dunno.

I watching the app on my android phone and everything was working fine using openvpn. Now when I try to view my cameras the BI app says it cannot connect to servers. I have tried using cellular data and my work wifi with the same results.

On my PC I can see all three cameras. I even get text messages when the cameras detect motion. It is just the Hikvision app that won't let me view live video.

Added my third camera (Hikvisoin 4MP) yesterday and noticed it goes into night mode when there is still plenty of light. Through the camera's configuration page I change to "Scheduled-Switch". The time is set from 7AM to 10PM and it is still in night mode. What gives? Thanks.

I just bought the ASUS RT-AC3200 that is dual WAN and has VPN.

I went from a Netgear C7000 modem/router to using only the modem part and then an ASUS RT-AC3200 router. Since then my two camera when watching through Blue Iris shows a still picture. Then it will say no signal for a few seconds and then it will get signal back. The time shown will not move...

Well that was short lived. I still have DoS in my logs so I doubt it is a Hikvision issue. It is a known issue with iPhones and Netgear modem/router I have.

I have two 4MP dome cameras. When I look at the alert pictures they are very blurry. My settings are saturation=50, iris=manual, 1080p, variable bitrate type, 6144 Kbps, highest quality, fps=15, I frame=20. I do have it on a schedule if that matters. I can't seem to find the exposure settings.

The HDD is connected straight to the PC. I formatted the HDD NTFS through Windows 7, then within the Hikvision Software.

When using the 4200 software, through the Storage Server tab I can see the hdd installed in my PC. I formatted it and the software say it is normal. When going through the two Hikvision camera's settings. I do not see the hdd available to choose. I do have in the camera settings to point to...

I just downloaded the 4200 software. I formatted the 3TB Purple drive (OS is on another HDD). Now the HD is completely full except like 3GB remaining. The package 000, 001, and 002 all have about .97 TB in each folder. How is this possible after I just formatted that drive? Thank for any help.
