That picture looks like the default Overlay / Privacy Masking config. That's in the Setup | Video | Overlay section. Make sure it's disabled.

I checked the MACs on the cams and they register as Dahua, so that's a good sign. The IPC-HFW4300S 3MP you mentioned looks to be fairly close in specs, just with a different mounting arm and shield. I'll keep looking and thanks again for the help.
