    Everything works well, except when i do a timelapse or a straight continuous record. It records at the substream rez even if I untick or tick on record page record dual streams if possible. The only way to record high rez is unticking substream entirely Not a biggie but tis there a workaround?

    I have 3 physical locations running blue iris at each of these locations The IP addresses (WAN) are different at all locations but to add cameras I use the WAN from those locations and vice versa I honestly never knew of any method other than port forwarding If i use for example 192.168.1.243...

    When setting up a batch of cameras at a new location ( like a new house I bought) I use the WAN address in each of the cam setups with 4 ports that I port forward ( like enclosed photo)

    See y,ou're the pro I'm not All my cameras use WAN, I do not use 192.168.1.x for anything on BI camera setups , I do port forwarding to access my cameras at other homes I own where BI runs. I On a side note, i can tweak the substreams on the cam setup page right if I want slightly better...

    Thank you for the info! I guess I don't understand why a spec with 350mA or 600mA can trump 2A with a 12v transformer especially over a 100 foot run. I guess Voltage is key here not amperages, forgot electricity 101 or PIE

    Current configuration : Dahua camera with hard wired splitter mated with another splitter with the only out put being cat 5...That then runs 100 feet and at that point that cat 5 cable in put into a splitter, one part of the splitter gors to the 12v 2a transformer and the cat 5 connector on that...

    From the poe splitter at the camera end I use cat 5 cable which terminates 100 feet away at the switch and power outlet for the POE transformer, might 12v 3A be an option?

    Fios router added, now issues with Blue Iris

    Mike I think I'm getting it....Make Netgear first in chain coming straight from Modem then netgear out to wan in on 3100. I did that and info screens for 3100 showed no connectivity I'll did deeper though, thanks !
