I'm having trouble accessing one camera.I click on the IE webpage symbol and the login page starts to load,but never shows the User/Password boxes. I tried to reboot nvr and reset the camera. Is there anything else I need to try?

OK,I don't see it there.The alarm doesn't show up on live view for web service or SmartPSS.

Update;Picked up a refurbished DHI-NVR4216-16P-44KS2/L from Andy.Using the @bigredfish guide(PSA for those with a New NVR..),the nvr came online and recognized all my cameras. One question,how can I get more information on this alarm?I want to prevent it from showing up on my monitor.

LOL,looks that way.Thank you for being so persistent.I have Andy checking on another nvr.The first one he recommended was a little pricey.He has a one refurbished nvr that hes' checking out.

Found a refresh button.Its on the Cameras Status Tab.Pushed it but, nothing so far.Will wait another 30 minutes and see.

Okay,I'm there.

It looks like I'm missing something here.My monitor wasn't disconnected.I disconnected the ethernet from the nvr earlier and plugged that ethernet cable into the laptop to see if it had internet.It was showing a connection so i removed the laptop and placed ethernet cable back on nvr.Thats how...

Okay,rebooted. I Just need some clarification on the next step.I've only used the laptop this one time just to see if the nvr was getting internet reception.Then I disconnected it and plugged the ethernet cable back on the nvr.

1 and 2-I used the ethernet cable that feeds the nvr.Unplugged it and tried on the laptop.Laptop was showing a connection.it loaded a webpage like normal. 3-did a cmd to ipconfig/all,it lists for the IPv4 address as 192.168.1.5(Preferred) 4-Yes

I'm at a loss.I do have a good internet feed to the nvr,checked with my laptop. Also tried the IE.vbs script I made before I discovered Edge could load a IE page. It's like the firmware broke the nvr somehow.

That didn't seem to work.I tried to delete delete some web service entries in the Edge history,still nothing.

Getting ready to do that.I tried SmartPSS and it doesn't see the nvr now either.
