What it be possible to telnet into the NVR to shut it down,

Unsure how I would access the NVR's embedded webGUI when connected to my PC via network cable, would I need to connect via HDMI cable as i do when viewing the embedded webGUI on the TV.

How would I know if my current firmware is English or Multi Language.

I have the Hikvision NVR DS-7608NI-E2 which came with firmware version 3.4.80. If I update to 3.4.90 from Hikvision Europe how would I know whether to select Multi Language or English firmware.
