Thank you for the help. I installed a smaller drive (around 100G) and now it works. Formatted and recorded fine. I wish Hikvision would create a fix for this so we can use larger drives.

After further research i found multiple people with the same issues.. It seems that it's a firmware issue from hikvision/trendnet.

I'm having this same issue with my trendnet cameras and it's very annoying. Trendnet suggests that i reload the shockwave add on. Ofcourse that does nothing. One of my cameras is completely bricked now. No access at all.
