Got 4 of them. Two Amcrest and two Empires. I’m not really into the up to date ones ‘cause I hate anything that has to do with AIs. I just want basic detection (not the motion detection mind you) like perimeter, intrusion, tripwire and the likes.

I applaud them for listening and addressing our complaints but giving an incomplete/partial fix is not a reason to celebrate. So the PTZ presets came back but where are the rest of the PTZ menus? Come on. Don't release them piecemeal.

Go to the App Store and click on your icon on top right corner to show your purchase history for free apps. Scroll down and you will be able to re-download the app. Yep, the same app they removed from the main store page. Sometimes it pays to be desperate.

I have an Asus router as well with OpenVPN. When I'm home (using wifi) I can access my NVR thru the DMSS app on my phone without the need for OpenVPN. But when away from home (on cellular) that's when I flip the OpenVPN switch and tap on DMSS to access the NVR. No "block internet access"...

Is it because all ethernet ports nowadays are auto-sensing?
