I actually found my DB10 a few weeks ago and set it up on DMSS and it works perfectly. Live and playback of existing recordings works fine.

DB10 works with DMSS as well once it's on the newest firmware version (which is a few years old now) Overall it's a very average device. I would certainly never put one into a production environment.

2431 models don't have WizSense / SMD so don't do AI based people/vehicle detection. They only do regular MD / IVS

That's not really answering the question. Nobody can really help you without knowing what your goal is. The consequences of installing that firmware are listed above.

The answer to that really depends on what you're trying to do. If you want a Chinese firmware camera the answer is yes. If you don't the answer is no.

Yes the 4300E is a 1st gen Adreia camera. Does anybody actually have a mod version of this firmware? I have a couple of cameras that were Chinese stock and I've been unable to locate the actual Chinese firmware to create a version to upgrade them.

Has anybody else encountered issues with with this model camera and daylight saving / time settings on the hacked Chinese models? It seems they don't support DST on hacked English firmware.
