Yes, I used find/inspect to find camera. Didn't change any presets, if I do, it's only in BI so far. I use find/inspect again and all is still the same and after changing it back to Dahua New V4. So, yeah, still doing the same.

I check the total work time on this cam, 62 days, 13 hours. My question is on the PTZ function. I thought it was spot on after setting up my presets with hot zones in the home preset in BI, but it's not. It does not go back to that same spot I preset, close, but no cigar and I believe it did...

Yes, I did the reset thing and held it a good 13 mississipi's....LOL As for a green or yellow light, don't know. But I'm guessing it was orange. The switch has a port test and it always said it was open port.

I did in the beginning. I did get it from him using Amazon. He said something along the lines of different issues to me messing it with my switch like under power or over power, software issues, etc.

I bought a Trendnet injector to try, did not work. Found a 12vdc, did not work. Double check laptops settings that were mentioned above. And Almost forgot, did the camera reset button. Although was not sure how long to push. Tried different, 1 sec, waited, then tried 3 second, etc, up to 10-12...

Thanks for the help, I pulled a laptop out of mothballs and did the the followed your request. Still a no-go. I'll have to look or go buy some 12v power. In the mean time, I put my BI computer back to DHCP to run my cams for the night. Thanks again

I was already using a injector for one of my Amcrest Ptz cams and now using the switch to power it, well before I change the IP's.

I have a injector, it was the first thing I tried and it did not work, same as now.

I don't have a 12VDC supply. I can change the switch and computer to anything you want me to, but it has to be PoE for power

Just my PoE switch. The two cams with odd numbers are not working now, but show up with the config tool. Meaning BI is not working now. But I can log into the switch with the new IP AND I just tried to look at the other cams using the Amcrest software and it did not work either.

My switch in on DHCP so that won't work right. So I just changed my switch to 192.168.1.27 with DHCP disabled, change computer IP to 192.168.1.100 and my browser still can't see 192.168.1.108. I use the config tool and still see my other two Amcrest PTZ cams 192.168.50.13 and 192.168.50.14 but...
