I have the NVR5216-4KS2 and recommend going with this model compared to the integrated 16P POE model. Pick up a sub $100 8 port POE switch and you'll have a great setup.

Yup, the web interface and options are the same as the other cameras. I can switch the IR on manually but it doesn't do anything.. obviously since the wires aren't connected.

Another weird thing about this particular camera is the serial number.. My other two HDW5231's have similar serial numbers (just the last 2 numbers are different) but this one that's missing the IR connector has an entirely different serial number, nothing like the other two.. kinda weird.

Thanks for checking and the photos! As I suspected, I may be SOL since there's no header/plug for the wire to connect to.. I'll dig around in my electronics box but doubt I have the correct part. If not, hopefully Andy can swap me out with a different camera.

Well, out of the 3 HDW5231R-Z's that I just received, one has IR lights that don't work. Tried everything but can't get them to come on. Running the latest firmware. Anyone else having this issue?

I plan on using one of these cams with a PFA151 corner mount. I currently have a IPC-HDW5231R-Z on the corner mount now. I recommend you check out this option. Once I receive this PTZ cam, I'll upload a few updated photos.
