If you're getting that exceeded error in UI3, I get the same thing all the time, but when viewing directly in console, the disk is fine. My unsupported belief is that when the log file gets too large, it doesn't even display in UI3 until I go into console and clear it. I suspect disk space info...

Didn't see this thread when I posted mine. Same thing happened to me. Always run BI as a service, and even though I've disable updates, I found a setup screen on my monitor as if an update had been installed. Skipped all the crap, then tried to run from console, and got the UAC error everyone...

Even though I've disabled Windows updates through the group policies (which I just confirmed again), and I leave the BI Service running, I found on the monitor the typical setup screen(s) as if I had downloaded an update and rebooted. This isn't the first time either... I declined all the setup...
