Do we know which NVRs will get ePTZ? I have two 5832 4kS2 and they don't appear to have any ePTZ support that I can tell. I was able to get the ePTZ working locally for the T180 using a Windows browser but that's not much use to me since the NVR is how I monitor cams.

Andy, Instead of adding modes that just crop off usable pixels, can we get modes that add horizontal black bars at the top and bottom of a frame to force letterboxing at the appropriate ratios?

Are time plans fixed? Eptz working? Does EPTZ function correctly to zoom in a recoding on a NVR or is it only supported in the Webview of the camera? I also had issue with the time plan being off by 12 hours. I never got any reply to if this was a bug or not.

this has been discussed above in this thread. The only encode mode that has the proper aspect ratio is 3840x1080. Less resolution or wonky aspect.. pick your poison.

I agree it seems broken but I've never had much luck setting up IVS rules in the browsers. I have successfully configured the IVS rules on this camera and my other thru the Dahua NVR interface and find that to be the best method.

Are the time plan settings working for you correctly? I have my Night setup to do B/W mode during the "witching hours" and it shows me B/W on the camera while I'm this setup menu but the moment I leave this schedule page it seems to go back to my "Day" color config even when it's between the...

After upgrading to this firmware (or the one on Dahua's website) for my Loryta IPC-T5442TM-AS-LED (purchased from Andy's Amazon store), I'm getting the "Algorithm Authorization failed, please import license" red triangle in the information tab.

Has anyone who had trouble with the relay clicking after upgrading to 4.0 validated if these newer versions still have that issue? I know myself and many others had issues back in the April timeframe and I stopped trying. Now I'm curious if any of these recent fall releases have resolved this...

This 9/30 version still has the relay clicking issue for my 5832.

I’d sure like to try it. I have a brand new 5832 that I bought for the purpose of running this firmware but it has the relay clicking issue on the previous release

It's not a 32bit app.... it's been throwing warnings for over a year... Dahua really sucks at MacOS support.

Do they work with Chrome? I’m on MacOS and while my other Starlights work without plugins and Chrome, these still don’t not gat firmware.

I can confirm the relay click issue exists on the 5832-4ks2 as well on the most recent posted 4.0.0.1

The diameter of the the circular part is about 134mm. Any camera that can use the PFA103 mount adapter from Dahua should fit.

Andy, I ordered one of these off your Amazon store. The firmware is "V2.623.0000000.22.R.E4.383, Build Date: 2019-04-09" It still requires a plug-in :( Is there an updated firmware that I can get that doesn't need the plug in anymore?

Yes, I already have/had it turned off. The one camera clearly had a hardware issue that was generating some electronic feedback. The newer one is fine.
