New Amcrest IP5M-T1179EW-36MM graphical glitches and freezing runs hot?

Unless they've changed the design, there are three screws on the backside of the camera ball. A generic Phillips head screwdriver (either #3 or #2 type - don't recall which one) is all you need to remove those three screws. You may also need to remove the oval cap that says RESET - it's a slot...

Blue Iris Tools - Weather Overlay, Watchdog & more!

Hi Mike, I did come across that, but will it be able to poll for new data less than once per minute (once every 15 seconds)? I've not attempted using decimals in place of minutes on BIT. Figured I'd ask before I dedicate a day to working with it all. :)

Blue Iris Tools - Weather Overlay, Watchdog & more!

Was poking thru the Blue Iris Tools stuff, and wasn't able to find an addon or parser available for this quite yet. Did find a mention or two this past Jan '20 about it, but nothing too much there. Are there any plans for BIT to support JSON decoding and parsing into associated files...

New Amcrest IP5M-T1179EW-36MM graphical glitches and freezing runs hot?

Currently have these settings active. When doing a quick audio spectrum sweep from my sound system at various levels, the clipping is quite notable with sounds over 3000hz and beyond. I don't have a dB meter on me, so I can't give the outputted volume - wouldn't rely on a phone app for that. :)

New Amcrest IP5M-T1179EW-36MM graphical glitches and freezing runs hot?

I put this camera outside last morning and afternoon (from 5 AM to 1 PM), in direct sunlight on a temporary camera board I made a few years ago. The temperature of operation was no more than 110F at any given time. The white shroud was no more than 104F, and the black front of the camera was the...

New Amcrest IP5M-T1179EW-36MM graphical glitches and freezing runs hot?

I recently got my hands on this rebranded Dahua camera from Amcrest. The heat issue is sort of two-part... 1) The heat radiated outward is somewhat shunted due to the plastic casing. Metal to metal conducts and dissipates heat better - think of it as a poor-man heatsink on a computer, in our...

    94 Camera Blue Iris install

Ah, I see. Regardless, this is an impressive use-case. Will be interesting on seeing how Ubiquiti handles the constant port beating over time. :) I do have a question though, apologies if i am picking your brain too much! On the task manager, I see you've three ethernet ports active at the time...

    94 Camera Blue Iris install

On the CPU utilization, you appear to be hitting a NUMA-node cap, where Blue Iris is not "seeing" (or using) the second socket or CPU segment. I have observed this issue on a machine with an AMD Threadripper 1950x, be it Blue Iris and other applications that are multithreaded, or have a form of...

The only things good about them before hardware failures kick in: Superb daylight video quality at 1920x1080 resolution, IR-led flood* a good swath of area at elevation, works with BI without (much) issue. The bad... oh man, here goes... Constantly tries to 'phone home' to multiple IP...

Installing up to 16 IP cameras across 30 acres

Bandwidth per camera will depends on the settings you set per each camera. What sort of camera brand/models are you looking at exactly? I'm not getting much of a result on this "Camius Professional 16 NVR" with what you describe. I assume this...

Quick question, does playback streaming with pre-determined time-cuts (every 60 seconds a new file is saved) not via alerts simply not functioning on UI3 beta? I can view real time video perfectly fine, but when i go click Alerts and click on an alert item on the left, this is what i am met...

    SUNBA 1080P HD, PoE+, 20X - 601-D20X

Unfortunately, it gets worse with time - simply due to using cheap sensors/hardware. The good news for me: I have a nice star field to go along with the stars in the night sky now. ;)

Anyone running 8th gen Intel without memory leak problems in Blue Iris?

Those are SMA connectors for 2.4/5Ghz wifi connectivity. Just about every ITX board since 2014/2015 give or take, has this in some form or another. Only one mITX board that i have does not have wifi, but dual Ethernet ports in its place. Would be rather neat if those SMA plugs were dual purpose...

POE Switch recommendation (20 ports or more) for a Blue Iris setup

That would be correct. Currently, I have three Ubiquiti AP's (UAP-AC-Pro) connected to the 24 port Unifi 250watt switch. Each has a wattage consumption that ranges from 3.50 to 6.25 watts each. The PTZ i have it of the higher end (for obvious reasons) on the class POE specifications, its a...

POE Switch recommendation (20 ports or more) for a Blue Iris setup

I've been using Ubiquiti for a good while now, not too hot, stable, and simply works. The US-8-150W is what i started off with last year, just upgraded to US-24-250W this past week (ran well out of ports on the 8-port). Fairly pleased with it, despite two fans on it - it's not too noisy...

Anyone running 8th gen Intel without memory leak problems in Blue Iris?

You're not wrong with the clearance portion! About an inch and a half of space with a stock intel cooler, and just shy of 2 inches with a noctua cooler on the Elite 110. PSU is a Corsair 500 watt (going by memory there) full-modular PSU.

Good part selection there, however that TT case might be a little cramped once you fit in the PSU. It's a slight amount larger than the case i have, the Coolermaster Elite 110. The Silverstone Tek SG13BQ might be a better alternative? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U8IS8BW/ or SilverStone...

    SUNBA 1080P HD, PoE+, 20X - 601-D20X

There is a way right now to reduce the IR-over exposure, but it's very much so, less than ideal... - Turn on Wide Dynamic in the range of 15 to 25. My ideal was around 22-20. - Set the AE Reference to the lower 30's. Mine is set to 34 of the default from 50. - Day and Night NT levels have to be...

Issue with BI ghosting or something

The D20XB is pushing data over RTSP rather its generic 34567 port - fairly sure the 800 series has the same port available. I can replicate the same issue when i force my 601-D20X onto the RTSP port. This is the result when using RTSP... (it gets far worse than this) Yeah, not pretty right...

What does your cameras configuration for the parameters look like? Here's a full zoom with the cameras IR and zoom on maximum (~300ft away)... looking at a bullfrog. I assume you're referring to the leafs being completely washed out and overexposed to the IR reflection? The same zoom and...

    SUNBA 1080P HD, PoE+, 20X - 601-D20X

What do you mean with the night picture issue? Are you referring to the IR's over-the-top flood-wash while zoomed? The IR for the Sunba 601-D20X is nice - there's no denying that... but the cameras IR filter to the actual camera sensor is less than ideal.
