Dahua IPC-C26EP / Imou LOOC usable without app?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying the above cam, just as a "try-out". I own several Dahua-cams and also a 16-port Dahua-NVR. Will I be able to use this cam without the native Imou-app? I just want to integrate it in my Dahua-NVR-setup. Best regards Mischa

Firmware for newer dahua cams as well as detailed specs available here

Thanks for clearing this up. I too didn't know that. Is there a list anywhere what name stands for what type of camera? I have this one (Prometheus) and some HDW5231Z/E. And what is the difference between ...PN... and ...NP...?

SD1A404XB-GNR on NVR5216-16P-4KS2E not powering up - PoE-cable too long?

Hi guys, I recently switched from my IPC-HDBW4231E-ASE to a SD1A404XB-GNR in my garage, which is connected with a 25-30m Cat6-cable to port 5 (green one) of my NVR5216-16P-4KS2E. The old camera was running flawlessly with that connection, but with the new one I have a big issue. When I...

Splitting one PoE-ethernet cable from my NVR5216-16P-4KS2E for two cameras?

I just want you tell you that I had success with the solution @pozzello mentioned :D I tried two different solutions, this and this Using the two cheap splitter-cables didn't help me, because my NVR didn't find the two cams. But I had instant success with the 4-port PoE-splitter (BTW, I paid...

Splitting one PoE-ethernet cable from my NVR5216-16P-4KS2E for two cameras?

Okay, thanks for your tips! Could you just tell me which pins on my shown connectors are which? And can I also use PoE that was with only 4 wires? Will 100Mb be enough for a 2MP Dahua IPC-HDW5231R-Z? @reflection I crimped all of my cables with the shown connectors, that has a color sheme...

Splitting one PoE-ethernet cable from my NVR5216-16P-4KS2E for two cameras?

How do I crimp them then? I have 8 different cables inside my ethernet-cable, 4 pairs (brown, orange, blue, green with each a corresponding white). Which cables should I connect to which part of my connector? I'm using these ones from METZ CONNECT (TIA-568A):

Splitting one PoE-ethernet cable from my NVR5216-16P-4KS2E for two cameras?

Okay, I bought this one on Aliexpress, gonna see if it works. If not, I'll try your recommendation with the MMF/MFF-splitter. Thanks a lot for your help!

Splitting one PoE-ethernet cable from my NVR5216-16P-4KS2E for two cameras?

Interesting side-fact I just found out: it seems like this PoE-splitter is also sold under the Dahua-brand as PFT1300 - with the warning that it wouldn't work with the proprietary PoE-standard from Dahua NVRs: https://nexonik.com/IP-passive-PoE-Reichweitenverlaengerung-Splitter-PFT1300

Splitting one PoE-ethernet cable from my NVR5216-16P-4KS2E for two cameras?

Thanks for all your precious tips! I now know that I could solve my problem on one or the other way :-) Unfortunately the parts seem not to be available in Germany too easy, so do you think that using this active (means powered) PoE-switch will work - even when it's connected directly to one...

Splitting one PoE-ethernet cable from my NVR5216-16P-4KS2E for two cameras?

Hi guys, I ran into a problem I don't know how to solve :-( I've got a total of 5 PoE-cams (Dahua IPC-HDW5231RP-Z) under the roof of my house. There are 5 ethernet-cables on my attic, coming from my network-rack, but unfortunately one of them seems to be defective. I did everything I can...

Actual firmware for Dahua IPC-A35 PTZ WiFi-cam?

Thanks for your reply. This cam is only for watching our kitty-cats when we're not at home, so no serious usage ;-) Can you tell me, what are the advantages of the Amcrest ProHD cam compared to the A35? Because I got the A35 connected to my DahuaNVR with recordings/IVS etc. Best regards Mischa

Actual firmware for Dahua IPC-A35 PTZ WiFi-cam?

Hi guys, I recently updated my Dahua-IPC-portfolio with a mobile IPC-A35 cam. Unfortunately the firmware of it is from 2017 and I can't find a newer one :-( Is there a chance to have an up-to-date firmware which allows log-in without any plugins, like with my IPC-HDW5231R-ZE? Maybe...

    Dahua NVR5216-4KS2 / NVR5216-16P-4KS2

Hmmm.... Look, what Dahua says about my NVR5216-16P-4KS2E: PoE: 16 ports (IEEE802.3af/at) 1-8 ports support ePoE & EoC NVR5216/5232-16P-4KS2E Doesn't this mean, it HAS PoE on all 16 ports but only 8 of them have 'advanced features'?

Damn - that was the main reason why I replaced my NVR5208-8P-4KS2 with an NVR5216-16P-4KS2E :-( Is there a similar model from Dahua that has 16 PoE-Ports?

    New firmware for NVR5208-8P-4KS2 availabe?

Hi Andy, I wonder if there is a newer firmware than the pre-installed version from 2017-09-01 availabe for the above NVR? Unfortunately I can't use the newest feature of the latest Dahua-firmware for many of their cams (e.g. using Chrome without any plugins), because all my cams are connected...

Latest New 20181228 Firmware for DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea

Thanks for this. But I'm able to access the cams web pages and all settings also when they're connected to the NVR. That was not my problem. My main reason is, that I want to access my cams over my Homeserver-visualization or like I said over TinyCam Monitor. And for that the cams have to be...

Latest New 20181228 Firmware for DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea

I did, but it seems I'm not looking for the right words (maybe because I'm not a native english-speaker :-( ). Could you help me to get the point? In my NVR I could change the IP of it, which is (internally) now set to 10.1.1.1. To what should I change this? My router is set to 192.168.178.1...

Latest New 20181228 Firmware for DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea

Latest New 20181228 Firmware for DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea

Short question: I'm using a Dahua NVR5208-8P-4KS2 to which all my cams are connected. Is it right that I can't connect to a single cam that way? The IP of my NVR is 192.168.178.xx, the cams are shown in PSS with IP-range 10.1.1.xx. And I can't access the NVR-webfrontend without a plugin for...
