What are the benefits of the windows client?

I've just updated to the new fw on my doorbell. So far I don't have any issues.

I wasn't thinking the URL. I was looking at the paper one inside the box that I had. I had the jumpers, but there wasn't a mention of what they were for. I should have gone online first.

Aha. My instructions didn't have that. When I went to the website they mention it there though. Looks to be working now.

Hey guys, I thought I would post here. I have an REOLink that is white, then flashes white four times. I tried the reset but it didn't do anything. However, I replaced my RING doorbell with this, and yesterday I took the little voltage thing off the doorbell circuit. Could that be the issue...

Ok I think something might be up here....when I replaced the transformer I removed that little voltage regulator from my ring doorbell. I'll put that back and see what happens.

I just tried the plug-in and it works. The transformer is new.

I've upgraded to a ReoLink doorbell and no longer need my RCA. Unit works just great, I just don't need it. It's flashed with the Laview firmware so you get ONVIF support. I'm in the USA, message me with offers if interested.

Ok I'm ordering an ReoLink. Is there a way to have two chimes hooked up? My home office is on the other side of the house so it's kind of hard to hear.

Ok. Do right now it's got Laview, and I can't get it to join there in the app because it thinks the network name is wrong. I can't get the RCA app to work either because it won't send a confirmation code to me. The last time I got it working was via iVMS.

No, I was a little concerned about going to the RCA firmware if I can't get the RCA app to work. Right now it's just flashing blue.

Ok well I tried to install the RCA app. I can't get an activation code and I can't contact them via the email address. It's got the Laview FW on there now. I'm in the batch tool but it's doing the same thing as the iVMS tool.

There's two files in there, HSDB2.dav and HSDB2_I.dav. Do you flash both or only one?

I stupidly changed the password in my RCA running laview using ivms. What do I need to do in order to get it back to the original and connected? I posted how I was able to get it working before but there's got to be a better way

Posted about this in the previous thread. I was able to get it to connect but I can't keep it connected. It works for a day or two now, then goes back to the flashing red ring. What can I do to fix this? Is it time to replace?

Ok well new issue. I am trying to activate the doorbell in ivms-4200 and when I go to do it. I get this "operation failed receiving data from server is timed out". Any ideas?

D'oh. Ok I figured out how to connect to the doorbell network. The network is incorrect in the Laview App. The pasword should be Laview-XXXXX not EZVIZ-XXXXX but I still can't get into it. There's something with hikconnect but I forgot my password sheesh
