Yes that is the method I needed to perform to my cameras when I switched from Blue Iris software to running an NVR. I needed to do that to all eight of my cameras. Figured it was the best thing to do since I was starting all over with the NVR.

Did you happen to get a hold of the release notes .pdf? The link to them isn't working and I sure would like t read them.

Hello. I've been using Motion Detection which I setup through the NVR and was wondering how to get Intrusion Detection to work. I have made the Intrusion Detection settings through the camera interface and have not had any alerts. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance..

Just verified this on my DS-7616N-E2/8P... There is a TEST button on the NVR interface. You would need to connect a monitor to the NVR and enter the configuration for the e mail setting to access the TEST function.

I believe there is a test button when configuring via the NVR itself.

Well in this case the PTZ function would be to view a garage service door as well a the regular garage door from the inside. The sister-in-law has forgotten to close the door once or twice and this would just be to verify that the door is indeed closed after her visit. Thank you for the reply.

Hello... Just to be sure before ordering this camera, will this camera be able to use the Motion Detect option properly with this NVR? I want to record only on event and not continuous. Thank you for any input...

Any luck on this? I'm awaiting delivery of a Hikvison DS-7616Ni-E2/8P/A and would like to know if using Blue Iris is still possible. I love the Blue Iris interface as well as the app for Android.

Hello, After attempting to update the firmware on my 2132's, I have also failed to recover from this. I believe I have used TFTP properly and yet SADP fails to see the camera afterwards. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Here is a pic of the TFTP process. Thank you,

Hello, first time Hikvision DS-2CD2132-I user and was trying to remove the date and timestamp. I am using IVM@-4200 V2.00.11.19 build 20140925. I haven't been able to locate these settings in this software and would prefer only to have the timestamp and date from Blue Iris on the screen. Any...
