Email notifiction setup

Hi,

I am trying to setup email notification through the NVR and noticed I don't have a test button to check whether the email settings are correct, anyone noticed that on their NVR?

DS-7616N-E2/8P is the NVR I am using.

I believe there is a test button when configuring via the NVR itself.

Just verified this on my DS-7616N-E2/8P... There is a TEST button on the NVR interface. You would need to connect a monitor to the NVR and enter the configuration for the e mail setting to access the TEST function.

Thanks I was trying over web interface hence probably could not see it

Thanks for this, I have been trying to setup emailing on our DS-7616 via the web interface and also found no test button, or anything useful in the logs. Now I know.

Although, NVR is a thousand km's away so not sure how i'll work this out
