    Sending a "Push Notification" with a picture only, no video clip?

    I am able to receive the notification on my Android phone, but have no need for the video that accomplices the alert, just a photo of the trigger is sufficient. How would I do this?

    On a cheap English version IP Cam that has been on the market

    for a year, why would I need to update the firmware if I use a Synology Diskstation? Does it matter that I can't update the firmware of the camera?
