Hikvision stops supporting HikConnect via WiFi on some cameras

I think it's for the Hungarian market only. Try Hungarian web stores, I don't have better idea.

Hikvision stops supporting HikConnect via WiFi on some cameras

HU. D models won't work with HikConnect over WiFi.

Hikvision stops supporting HikConnect via WiFi on some cameras

Definitely. I have just installed 2 of them at the end of last week as stand-alone cameras with uSD and WiFi was the only option for internet access. Works with HikConnect. Sad that currently it's the only model that still supports HikConnect via WiFi.

Hikvision stops supporting HikConnect via WiFi on some cameras

It depends. Here in Hunagry at least some of them still supports HikConnect via WiFi. (D) models will not. (HU) models support. Ex.: DS-2CD2041G1-IDW1/HU

    Hikvision DS-7616NI-K2/16P v4 firmware

Hi, Has anyone updated the NVR to the v4.30.005 firmware? How does it working? What's your experiences with this one? Does it working flawlessly or has some bugs?

Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell

What's your goal with it? Never used that, just throw away the connectors. Security systems are standalone ones, using a doorbell as alarm would never be my choice. I think the relay outputs are operated by the alarm inputs when the system is armed and sg occurs. Dry contacts, dunno NO or NC...

Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell

I don't think it will work. Though the blue/brown pairs are used for transmitting only power if they are in a 10/100M network the cable test will fail and there's a good chance that your KD8003 won't be powered. (I have met such problem in NVR / IP CAM configuration when one of the wires was not...

Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell

It's been discussed many times - even on this forum - DON"T USE that 12V DC terminal for powering electric locks. You MUST USE a uniqe power supply for the lock. Try to reed forward the manual, 'bout just 2 pages. Door Lock Wiring you should look for. The 12VDC terminal is an INPUT if you are...

Hikvision stops supporting HikConnect via WiFi on some cameras

Well, yes. Absolutely right. But many people out there with ZERO knowledge in networking wants to have remote access to everything that has the word "smart / camera / alarm system" in their naming. For those ticking an "Enable" button and scan a QR-code is more than enough. These masses brought...

Hikvision stops supporting HikConnect via WiFi on some cameras

I was facing with this problem nowadays. Camera is a 2CD2041G1-IDW1 with the latest v5.5.88 firmware. It refuses connection to the HikConnect server on WiFi. With wired, it's OK. It was strange 'cause I've installed the same camera some 2 months ago and it was working fine. The working camera's...

Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell

No, it's not possible with the KD8003-IME1. As far as I know from the 2nd generation lineup the DS-KV6113 is the only one that can be used as a standalone outdoor device directly and only with HikConnect. All others requires at least one indoor station. Though it's absolutely OK for villas...

If you want to upgrade the KD-DIS display module choose "Display Modul Upgrade File" at Select Type: option. Not "Other Module". Other Module fw upgrade is OK for the rest. KD-KP, KD-KK, KD-M, etc. Try iVMS-4200 v3.1.1.9. Right now this is the most stable for video interkom. And use the...

Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell

Think of the submodules as an extensions to the KD8003. So that minimal settings and fw update is to be carried out within the programming of the KD8003. But instead of the KD8003 firmware load the submodule's firmware. Note that the KD-DIS has it's own firmware and the other modules share...

Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell

Powering a video intercom system via NVR's PoE ports is a very bad thing. I've read this many times and don't see any good reason why sy would do that. All you save is a cheap PoE switch, like the DS-3E0105P-E and generating more trouble to yourself like you do. I think you don't understand how...

Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell

That should be OK. Normally you must see it in "Online Device" section whether it's activated or not. You must click on "Online Device" to split the screen into two and have the the online devices on the lower part of your screen. Just give it a try with SADP but I don't expect any step forward...

Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell

Which version of iVMS are you using? The suggested method of activating KD8003-IME1 is via iVMS. But for video intercom systems you must use special version of v2. The only one that will work is 2.6.2.50. As of the new series of iVMS you can access video intercom with iVMS AC. Or you can use the...

Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell

Just to solve the second part of my own post, maybe someone will make use of it. Consulting with many support team they had no idea, all of them was reporting fully working systems so I have to figure it out on my own. But at least I knew that troubleshooting must affect my own network. What...

Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell

Hello! I can confirm this. About to install a system into an apartment house. Two entry points with KD8003-IME1 camera module + KD-DIS display module + KD-KP keypad module. Inside the apartments KH6320-WTE1 stations. I was struggling with the available software versions. The newest v1.1.0.10 AC...

    DDNS Question

Because your NVR is set up with DHCP. In NVR settings under "Network / Basic settings / TCP/IP" untick the DHCP box and give your NVR a fixed IP within your LAN. Fill the IPV4 address, subnet mask and gateway fields with this settings and you'll be OK. If you want to go for sure fix the NVR IP...

Who knows networking? How can I keep my new NVR septate from personal network?

If your NVR has built-in PoE ports than it's done. Use them. It's the simplest solution. If not put another router (and switch if needed) after your recent one. But this solution was mentioned by Akoya as well. Let say your LAN is now 192.168.0.xxx. The new router and NVR and IP cams will be in...

    Hik-Connect weirdness

Yes. That's what I'm doing. But getting serial and verif.code from the NVR menu. There is a different code on the label of the box, a different one on the bottom of the NVR and a different one sticked inside the NVR onto the electronics. This latter is the real one which can be read from the...

    Hik-Connect weirdness

Hi! I want to add 2 NVRs to my Hik-Connect account. When choosing "manual add" and entering the valid serial and verification code I always get "Invalid verification code." error. (Verif.code is entered in capitals.) When adding with QR code scanning one of them is accepted but the other still...

    DDNS Question

Mine is working fine with No-IP. It's enough to set DDNS in NVR level. (My router has no No-IP option and it's DDNS is reserved for another DynDNS access.) The only drawback of No-IP that you have to confirm the registration monthly.
