Yep tried the trusted sites thing but no joy and i still couldn't find the files even though i had changed it to a local folder. Bit annoying still i continue in my quest to solve this.

Just to bring that back up but I'm having issues - I'm selecting the files to download it say a folder on my pc i selected but the folder is empty on viewing but not empty when browsing with the GUI for cams. What gives?

The camera is connected just fine via plug and play and hikvision profile i just cant get into the cameras web ui no long and nothing displays about it on nvr

I can no longer get into the camera web UI since the nvr has taken control of it a new ip of 192.168.254.xx and i cant get to the admin page with that for some reason. But previously it didn't have smart events when i did get into the web UI I'm just wondering if i can enable it via a firmware...

Yep i understand the 1080p limitation with the tv i have it hooked up to thats fine. But locking a 4mp to 2mp is a bit odd. i will take a look at capture mode thanks

Hi there I have the DS764NL NVR paired with a third party (Besview) 4MP ip cam. It will output 2k 2560x1550? But in the options of the nvr 1920x1080p is the maximum i can achieve. Although on the box of the nvr it states recording up to 5MP Something I'm doing wrong here? Thanks

So i fixed it basically this is what helped. I didn't realise you could click within the box to bring up the reset parameters on the nvr itself. Worked first time now I'm a happy bunny but i cant figure out how to add my camera. There are 4 cams listed which none of them are active so i assume...

Guys I'm having a bad time with this NVR i bought from gumtree. The seller cant recall the password as he thought he had reset it to admin/admin but its not the case. I've tried the default 12345 and still nothing even tried my cameras password which was previously powered via a power injector...
