Jose, I’m only a few weeks into HomeSeer (they’ve got a 1/2 off sale going on now) but my integration with BI at the moment is limited to using motion as an alert input to HomeSeer to trigger an action. You can download a trial for free and play with it for a month.

I’m using HomeSeer to integrate Blue Iris, DSC alarm system, Philips Hue, Z-Wave switches, Open Sprinkler, and MyQ garage door openers. There’s a learning curve, but you can do a lot such as, if motion detected on Blue Iris between certain hours, turn on certain lights inside, chirp a siren, etc.

I switched over to push notifications today for the same reason, but didn’t turn off text messaging. Just received about 50 legacy texts from earlier today...have now turned off text messaging for good!!

Add a fourth difference, the cam I just received can pan/tilt at the same time (diagonal control) whereas the first cam doesn't. Firmware difference perhaps?

I used BI for several years with standard 3mp Dahua cameras, both bullet and dome, without issue. Decided to upgrade at our new house, and now have a IPC-HFW5231E-Z12 overlooking the driveway. My problem is in Blue Iris, when I zoom in, it zooms *all* the way in. I can't stop it partway...
