    sunlight changes trigger alert

    Version 4.5.9.8 x64 HIKVISION Model: DS-2CD2042WD-I When lighting changes dramatically, it triggers a false motion alert. I have tried messing with contrast but no joy. What might I try?

    Camera name after import

    I did an export of a camera (reg) and imported it to another. The name of the camera as shown in the real time display, lower right, above the time shows as the imported camera. It shows as desired in camera properties. At least where I've looked. How to change it?

    recording blank spots

    I have a single camera install where recording "goes blank" at times, then resumes. See below. Where do I start looking? I don't find any references to logs where I can look at such things as connectivity. Thanks for any suggestions.
