Does Axis cams allow modern browsers to connection to access all camera features without special plugin's unlike Dahua which requires a virtual machine running a 13 year old unsupported operating system and browser?

One of my 6, no matter which plugin at the time was installed, always worked. It's probably time to re-evaluate for all new FW updates.

After extensive time installing combinations on 6 of my cam's I found 1 download that works with 5 of them. The 6th one that doesn't work will need a FW update to be the same as another of the same model which does work. I appreciate the feed back, SOLVED.

Both of your solutions don't address the configuration of IVS Events. On my Linux box I've had to install VirtualBox, Win XP and IE 8.0. Being someone who is anti-windoze it's painful to have to resort back to them for a solution.

I verified I was using IE on my Win 10 box. I changed back to 264 hit Save 3 times then Refresh. It stuck at 264. After reboot it switched back to 265.

@wittaj, I was doing this on a Ubuntu box with Google Chrome. I took your advise and switched to a Win 10 box with IE and same problem, H.264 didn't "stick". @MyDaHua, I will try resetting to default and recovering from there when I get a change. As you mentioned very time consuming.

Mine just came with PAL ver Date March 2018. I went looking for the NTSC with the same date but only found March and November from 2017 on both Dahua Technologies sites. If someone comes across March or later from this year please post a link.

I have a "T" on the way which is PAL. Does anyone have a link they can post to the latest NTSC firmware? Seems that, for me at least, that all the links on the Dahua Technology Download Center aren't working. I've tried 2 different browsers.
