Another question about Dahua “Resource is limited. Open video failed!” message.

Posts from some of you guys on previous questions about the colors/hue being bad said it could be the ir sensor not engaging. Does anyone know if it has its own controller or cable? I also was unable to zoom in or out with logging in through IE. Thanks again!

Nice. It was a mix of my excitement, hoping that’s all it was and rushing because one of my techy coworkers had to leave. Total negligent brain fart on my part. It was a crushing blow there for a while. Do you think the pins on the cable would distort the image color?

Ok, party people, there was a micro coaxial cable on the sd6alafn-hni!!! I found a connector on the main board with the sd slot, and another on the interface board on the back of the camera. I connected them and all of the other connections, closed it up, crossed my fingers, and put power to...

These are the only photos on my phone...1 is inside the housing, the wires on the left, and the other is where the connector plugs into the board on the outside of the actual camera.

No, just 1 camera has the “resource limited” problem, the other camera was “pulled from a working environment” and had a login/password on it that I didn’t know, and no help from the vendor. I went to look for pins to short to attempt a factory default and when I unplugged the 6-conductor molex...

I’m in Tennessee. I’ll see if I have any better photos or I’ll open it back up Thursday. I won’t be home until then.

I’ve only used Black Box & Cisco ones in the field and I have Engenius bridges in my house.

Sorry for the delay, we just had a small kitchen fire to put out at some dummy’s house. It’s never a good idea to take a nap with food on the stove.

The closest thing I have that faces them is a decorative copper vent in the front of my house. The only line of sight would have to be higher up on a pole. It’s sad, because I’ve installed them at plenty of businesses and can’t at my own house. I was one of those goofs who made cantennas...

Yep, the other camera’s wires were all black and nobody has a tear-down of it. Bummer.

We’re a thrifty family. My in laws live in the same subdivision and f-i-l wanted us to put L.o.S. antennas on our houses with T-1 to save $ on our internet use! But our hoa says only small tv dishes are allowed. Rules, who needs ‘em!

I get what you mean. Nobody in town was able to help me with the pin-out issue of my 1st camera. So, it just sits waiting for me to do something with it. Seriously, the molex just crumbled when I was connecting it and the wires didn’t lay out in any manner that could be considered straight. So...

Several years ago, I put 900mhz cameras, powered by batteries and solar panels, at the entrance of our subdivision with Yagi antennas to a dvr in our house, so we could get tag #’s of comings and goings. We had signs posted so we’d be legal, but a lawyer in the subdivision convinced me to take...

This forum is why I went with the Q-See & Dahua stuff for my house years ago. I’ve been pretty satisfied with them. Had to replace the fan twice in the NVR and added harddrives, but it’s still going strong. I liked being able to have a couple at our office on its network show up on my home...

Gotcha! The funny/sad part is yes, I had the resources at the time, when I was purchasing cameras, several months ago, right now is a definite no. I have zero disposable cash. We’ll bounce back in a few months. My other projects and honey-do’s are done and I am just now able to start back on...

Hello?, the DH-SD6ALA230FN-HNI and DH-SD6C230U-HNI are Starlight cameras. I haven’t been able to get either to work right. That was totally my plan, if I got them to work.

My issue is getting these Dahua’s up and running. I’d really like one on our house, but the wife won’t let me. I told her I would even paint the outside can to camouflage it with our brick exterior like an optical illusion, but she wouldn’t go for it. Currently, the house has Dahau IP bullet...

Our new AC units have alarms and iron cages were built around them. The insurance adjuster was extremely helpful with the claim. The system is automated and calls my father-in-law and another employee when anything goes wrong and the crappy camera system sends email notifications. Those...

I really want these cameras to work. Thieves got on the roof of our family business trying to steal copper from AC units and did $30k in damage! Our little cheap Revo system could see anything worthy of any kind of identification of the thieves, nor their vehicles.

I have. IE was the same as with the PSS, I could access with IP and log in with default, but same message about resource limited, video failed where he media would be. I bought it from someone on eBay who said they had “no power supply, so they couldn’t test it”. It wouldn’t have worked for...

I got the camera powered up. Dahua DH-SD6ALA230FN-HNI. Seems nobody ever connected any of the molex connections inside this one. There was also a ribbon cable taped down inside, not connected to anything (does anyone know what it is for? I didn’t see a place for either end in any boards). So...

Also, for those needing eave-mounted lighting, I just got a l.e.d. one at Home Depot that is adjustable. Attempt at car theft. 1080p Dahua ip.

I have a stupid question because I’m the 2-speed guy- stop and full-throttle. I have a couple Q-See NVRs with Dahau ip cams and I decided to upgrade for the same reason above, recent car and home invasions. I bought a ‭Dahau dh-sd6c230tn-hni thinking it was compatible with my Q-See QC816 or...
