I just purchased it :lol: thanks for the post @mat200 Which camera model are you looking at with the 1/1.8”? I might pick up a ipc-hfw1831e from empire with the 1/2” sensor. I have about 10k lumens of light on the front of the house, so light isn’t an issue unless I’m looking far.

I might grab one. I’m deciding on the sd49225 or just adding a few cameras instead. It looks like it’s a Starvis sensor so I’d be interested in how well in performs over my current 8mp Lorex lnb8005 cams.

Its worth noting, I didn’t see any mention of an Micro SD card in the Lorex model, unless I missed it. Just another example of stripped features I would find rather useful, especially to use stand alone.
